Arkham City’s Solomon Grundy bursts to life in this high caliber action figure by none other than ZBrushCentral artist, Joe Menna. Joe is a long time member of the ZBrushCentral community and this Batman bad guy gets himself a spot on the coveted Top Row.

This version of Solomon Grundy is a whopping 13” and was sculpted and engineered by Joe using features like Dynamesh. The printing, casting and painting duties were handed over to Jason Wires. The project’s art director was Bryon Webster. This latest piece is part of the DC Collectibles line and pretty cool if you ask us! Over the last 40 years or so, Wolverine has gradually evolved into one of the most recognizable characters in the Marvel universe. This latest post by ZBrushCentral member J.E. Mark, claws its way to the Top Row and ensures that the Wolverine name isn’t the only one you’ll be remembering.

The entire project was completed by sculpting, texturing and rendering the whole thing in ZBrush. That’s some pretty impressive clay slashing!

Frank Miller’s Batman is a dark and brooding character. One with complexities and contradictions indicative of the most tortured souls. We empathize with the character because he is conflicted. We cheer for him because we all want to overcome something. ZBrushCentral artist Jason Martin has us cheering and applauding, at how he’s overcome the long line of great art submitted daily to the ZBrushCentral forum and landed himself on the Top Row. Racing Through The Past

Racing into the past has never been easier. ZBrushCentral artist Daniel McKay knows this better than most, as he showcases his latest hard surface model. This one harkens back to the days when open wheel racing was more dangerous than tight rope walking. This latest piece is inspired by British Racing Motors Mark 1 formula one race car of the 1950’s.

The entire car was “built” inside ZBrush and begun by using primitives and Dynamesh. Daniel was able to arrive at the finish line by using features like Insert meshes, Clipping brushes and Panel Loops to name a few. Visit his blog to see more work from this talented ZBrushCentral.

To say that Jean Giraud Moebius was an influential figure in the world of art is more than an understatement. The man virtually invented science fiction and the visual esthetic of the genre. The Turn Table Gallery has a new addition with this latest piece by ZBrushCentral member Fareed Dridi. The Arzack comic book served as the primary influence for this latest sculpture. Fareed used ZBrush to bring his own rendition of this timeless desert wanderer to life. The props and character were sculpted and polypainted inside ZBrush. Furio Tedeschi looks like he’s spent quite some time on the hard surface side of things. This latest mech sculpt is the bi-product of using features like Trim brushes and Claytubes. He’s taken full command of the 20 Subtools used to compose this futuristic fighter and holds the whole thing together with Dynamesh.

Seo Chang Hyun nails this mix of hard surface and organic modeling while taking us on a cosmic journey. With features like Panel Loops, Insert Mesh brushes, and a whole host of Clipping brushes, you’ll be up to cosmic speed in no time. Once the sculpting work was done, Hyun turned to render passes to generate the final image. This entire project was created entirely in ZBrush. Galand used ZBrush to generate his mesh and work out the rough in phase, while bringing this latest piece to life. Defending the Top Row like an ancient warrior isn’t easy. This latest post is courtesy of ZBrushCentral artist Cedric Seaut. Cedric has captured and tamed the wild warrior within, to arrive at this awesome conclusion. The concept sculpts were done using ZBrush for an unreleased game. Too bad!
